09 - 1 cup shredded lettuce
10 - 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
11 - 1/4 cup diced red onion
12 - 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (optional)
13 - Sour cream (optional)
14 - Guacamole (optional)
15 - Jalapeño slices (optional)

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange the hard taco shells upright in a baking dish.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic and taco seasoning, stirring for 1 minute. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
03 - Evenly spoon the seasoned beef mixture into each taco shell. Generously sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.
04 - Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese melts and the taco shells become crisp and golden.
05 - Remove tacos from oven. Top each with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, and chopped cilantro if desired. Serve warm with optional sour cream, guacamole, jalapeño slices, and hot sauce.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Customize toppings according to preference. For extra heat, add jalapeños before baking. Tacos can be prepared ahead and reheated.
