# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Protein & Base

01 - 0.5 pound ground beef (85/15 lean)
02 - 0.5 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

→ Creamy Mixture

03 - 1 cup corn kernels, frozen or canned and drained
04 - 0.67 cup condensed cream of mushroom soup
05 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
06 - 0.33 cup whole milk
07 - 0.25 cup sour cream

→ Seasonings & Topping

08 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
09 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 32 ounce bag frozen tater tots

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
03 - Add corn, condensed cream of mushroom soup, 0.5 cup shredded cheddar, whole milk, sour cream, onion powder, black pepper, and crumbled bacon to the skillet. Stir thoroughly until mixture is evenly combined and creamy.
04 - Evenly spread the creamy beef mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle remaining 0.5 cup shredded cheddar over the surface, then arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
05 - Transfer the dish to the oven and bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and filling is bubbling.
06 - If desired, sprinkle with additional cheese and return to oven for 5 minutes or until melted. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Bake uncovered to achieve crispy, golden tater tots.
02 - Use freshly shredded cheddar for the best melt and rich flavor.
03 - Do not overload the baking dish; a 9×13-inch pan ensures even cooking.
04 - Allow the casserole to rest for at least 5 minutes before cutting for cleaner servings.
