Creamy spinach mix with Knorr blend in a bread bowl. Ideal for sharing and easy prep.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Dip

01 - 1.4 oz packet Knorr dry vegetable recipe mix
02 - 1 cup mayonnaise
03 - 16 oz sour cream (2 cups)
04 - 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed and very well drained

→ For Serving

05 - 1 large round rye or sourdough bread loaf
06 - Wheat Thins or crackers

# Steps to Cook:

01 - In a medium bowl, mix the thawed and well-drained spinach, Knorr dry vegetable recipe mix, mayonnaise, and sour cream until fully incorporated and smooth.
02 - Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to blend and the soup mix to bloom.
03 - Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the interior, leaving about a 1-inch crust wall to contain the dip. Reserve the removed bread and tear it into 1-inch pieces for dipping.
04 - Stir the chilled spinach dip once more and spoon it into the prepared bread bowl. Serve alongside bread pieces and crackers.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Ensure the spinach is thoroughly drained using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels to prevent watery dip.
02 - The dip’s flavor improves with extended chilling; overnight refrigeration is ideal.
03 - Use rye or sourdough bread for the bread bowl; pumpernickel is a suitable alternative.
04 - Keep the dip covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It can be prepared ahead for gatherings.
05 - Complement the dip with fresh vegetables like carrots, celery, and bell pepper strips in addition to bread and crackers.
