02 - 3 cups cold whole milk
03 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)

→ Cheesecake Layer

04 - 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
05 - 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
06 - 1 (12 oz) container whipped topping, thawed, divided

→ Fruit

07 - 4 to 5 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds

→ Base and Garnishes

08 - 1 box vanilla wafers (about 11 oz)
09 - Extra whipped topping for garnish
10 - Crushed vanilla wafers for garnish
11 - Banana slices for garnish
12 - Caramel drizzle (optional)

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Whisk instant vanilla pudding mix with cold whole milk for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in vanilla extract if using. Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes to chill.
02 - Using an electric mixer, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk and blend until combined. Gently fold in half of the whipped topping until incorporated.
03 - Peel and slice bananas into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Optionally, toss slices lightly in lemon juice to prevent browning.
04 - In serving cups or jars, layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, cheesecake mixture, and then vanilla pudding. Repeat layers until filled, ending with a layer of whipped topping.
05 - Top with extra whipped topping, crushed vanilla wafers, banana slices, and optional caramel drizzle. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving to set flavors.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use ripe bananas for optimal flavor. Chilling overnight enhances texture and taste. Alternative cookies can be used for variation.
