Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Salmon (Printable Version)

Tender salmon baked with lemon, garlic, and butter on a sheet pan for a flavorful and easy meal.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Main

01 - 1.5 to 1.75 pounds skin-on salmon fillet

→ Citrus

02 - 1 lemon, thinly sliced
03 - 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

→ Butter Mixture

04 - ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
06 - 5 cloves garlic, finely pressed or minced

→ Seasoning

07 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
08 - ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ Garnish

09 - 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Place salmon skin-side down on a foil sheet aligned with a sheet pan, raising foil edges approximately 2 inches to contain butter mixture. Nestle lemon slices evenly underneath the salmon.
02 - Melt butter in a microwave-safe container on high for about 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice, honey, and garlic.
03 - Pour about three-quarters of the butter mixture over the salmon. Season evenly with kosher salt and black pepper. Reserve the remaining butter mixture.
04 - Seal the foil tightly, using an additional sheet if needed to create a near airtight packet. If time permits, allow to marinate for 10 to 15 minutes for enhanced flavor.
05 - Place the foil packet on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 17 minutes.
06 - Carefully open the foil packet, keeping the edges raised to contain juices. Set oven to high broil. Spoon reserved butter mixture over the salmon if desired, then broil for 5 to 10 minutes until the salmon achieves a golden crust.
07 - Optionally garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately while warm.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Broil on the second oven rack to reduce burning risk. Cooking times vary based on salmon thickness and oven variation; monitor closely.
02 - Salmon is best served fresh but can be refrigerated airtight for up to three days.
