Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of shredded mozzarella onto the hot waffle maker and allow it to melt for 30 seconds.

Spoon half of the tuna mixture onto the waffle maker, close the lid, and cook for at least 4 minutes until set and golden brown. Carefully remove the cooked waffle and repeat with the remaining mixture for another 4 minutes until crisp and golden. Serve immediately.
