Sausage Cheese Bites (Printable Version)

These crispy little biscuits are stuffed full of sausage, cheddar, and cream cheese. Super easy for snacking, parties, or breakfast on the go.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Biscuit Base

01 - 1 can (8 count) store-bought biscuit dough

→ Filling

02 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
03 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
04 - 115 grams softened cream cheese
05 - 225 grams breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or spicy)
06 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 55 grams grated cheddar

→ Garnish (optional)

08 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, diced

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Let the bites chill for a couple of minutes. Dress them up with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if you want, then dig in while they're warm.
02 - Drop about a spoonful of the sausage mix into each biscuit cup. Heat them in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or till the tops turn golden.
03 - Chop every biscuit into four chunks. Gently squish and press a piece into each muffin space to shape a cup.
04 - Grab a bowl and toss in the cooked sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix that all together so everything's blended.
05 - Toss your sausage into a skillet. Fry it up over medium heat, breaking it all up as it cooks until there's no pink left. Drain any grease.
06 - Get your oven going at 190°C. Spritz some nonstick spray on a mini muffin tray, or use a regular muffin pan for bigger bites.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Go with hot sausage or toss in some red pepper flakes if you want more heat.
02 - Switch it up—try using gouda, mozzarella, or pepper jack for a cheesy change.
03 - Pop leftovers in a container with a lid and keep them in the fridge for up to 4 days. To warm them up, use the oven at 175°C for about 5 minutes.
04 - You can freeze these unbaked for 3 months. Cook straight from frozen, just give them a few more minutes in the oven.
