Juicy salmon topped with zesty avocado salsa. Ready in 20 minutes and packed with fresh flavor.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Salmon

01 - 2 salmon fillets (4–6 oz each)
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 clove garlic, minced
04 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Avocado Salsa

09 - 1 ripe avocado, diced
10 - 1/2 cup diced tomato
11 - 2 tablespoons diced onion
12 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
13 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
14 - 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
15 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Steps to Cook:

01 - In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
02 - Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets. Let sit for up to 2 hours if desired.
03 - Heat a heavy-duty pan or grill over medium-high. Cook salmon for 5–6 minutes per side until crisp on the outside and just cooked through.
04 - Combine avocado, tomato, onion, and cilantro in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and lime juice, season with salt and pepper, and gently stir.
05 - Top the cooked salmon with avocado salsa and serve immediately with your choice of sides.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Avoid overcooking the salmon; it should be removed from heat just before fully done, as it will continue to cook slightly.
02 - The salmon can be grilled, baked at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, or pan-seared for flexibility in preparation.
