10 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Finishing Ingredients

11 - 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Add olive oil to a 4–5 quart sauté pan or deep skillet over medium-high heat.
02 - Add sliced kielbasa and diced onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is browned and onions are soft and translucent.
03 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
04 - Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes with juice, milk or cream, pasta, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
05 - Bring to a gentle simmer and cook uncovered for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens slightly.
06 - Remove from heat. Stir in half the shredded Cheddar until melted and incorporated.
07 - Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Cover the pan and let sit for a few minutes until the cheese melts and becomes bubbly.
08 - Sprinkle sliced scallions over the top and serve hot.
