Golden, flaky pastry hearts filled with rich, creamy Nutella for a sweet, indulgent delight.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Pastry

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

→ Filling

02 - 1/2 cup Nutella

→ Egg Wash

03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1 tablespoon water

→ Garnish (optional)

05 - Powdered sugar
06 - Fresh berries
07 - Whipped cream

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the thawed puff pastry on a clean surface and use a heart-shaped cutter to cut at least 6 hearts. Place hearts on the prepared baking sheet and chill for 10 minutes.
03 - Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of Nutella on half of the chilled puff pastry hearts, avoiding the edges to prevent leakage.
04 - Top each Nutella-covered heart with another heart-shaped pastry, gently pressing and crimping edges with a fork to seal.
05 - Whisk the egg with water to create an egg wash. Brush evenly over the tops of the assembled pastries.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
07 - Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Optionally dust with powdered sugar and serve with fresh berries or whipped cream.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For best results, do not overfill the pastry to prevent Nutella from leaking during baking. Puff pastry should be cold to maintain flakiness.
