# Steps to Cook:

01 - Preheat the waffle iron to the recommended temperature according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cornstarch until evenly distributed.
03 - Add the egg, milk, and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth. Gently fold in the shredded apples until just combined.
04 - Lightly spray the waffle iron with nonstick spray. Spoon batter by tablespoonfuls onto the waffle iron and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool slightly.
