# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb ground beef
02 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
03 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
04 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
05 - 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
06 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or American cheese
07 - 2 to 3 tbsp real maple syrup
08 - 4 large flour tortillas
09 - Butter or non-stick spray, for grilling

→ Optional Add-ins

10 - Sliced pickles
11 - Caramelized onions
12 - Mustard drizzle
13 - Sliced jalapeños

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, then drain excess fat.
02 - Stir crumbled bacon and maple syrup into the cooked beef. Mix well to coat evenly. Set aside.
03 - Lay tortillas flat. On one half of each, sprinkle cheese, spoon over the beef mixture, add optional extras, then top with more cheese. Fold tortillas in half to close.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or non-stick spray. Grill quesadillas 2–3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melted, pressing gently with a spatula.
05 - Let quesadillas rest briefly, then slice into wedges. Serve with extra maple syrup or your preferred dipping sauce.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Avoid overfilling the quesadillas to ensure they crisp evenly and don't fall apart.
02 - Let grilled quesadillas rest briefly before slicing for better structure.
03 - To reheat, warm in a dry skillet over low heat until crisp and heated through.
04 - Assembled quesadillas can be refrigerated and grilled later for easy prep.
