Savory sausage and peppers with noodles in a rich tomato wine sauce for a comforting dish.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Pasta

01 - 8 oz cooked egg noodles

→ Meat and Vegetables

02 - 1 lb ground Italian sausage
03 - 1 cup chopped bell peppers (red or yellow)
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

→ Seasonings and Sauces

05 - 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
06 - 1/2 cup dry white cooking wine
07 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
08 - 1 tsp dried basil
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

10 - 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground Italian sausage and chopped bell peppers. Cook 7 to 9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is browned and peppers are tender.
02 - Reduce heat to medium. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds until fragrant.
03 - Pour in the white cooking wine and scrape the bottom of the skillet to loosen browned bits. Simmer until the liquid is reduced by half, about 3 to 4 minutes.
04 - Add the undrained diced tomatoes and dried basil. Season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine thoroughly and form a cohesive sauce.
05 - Gently fold in the cooked egg noodles using tongs or a wooden spoon. Sauté for 3 to 5 minutes until heated through and well coated with sauce.
06 - Remove from heat. Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately for best flavor.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Allow the wine to reduce properly to enhance flavor without overpowering the dish.
02 - Adjust seasoning after adding tomatoes and wine for a balanced taste.
03 - Brown the sausage thoroughly to develop depth of flavor.
04 - Add cheese off heat to prevent clumping.
