Combine softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a small mixing bowl until smooth.

Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.

Place two bread slices buttered-side down. Top each with shredded cheese, then cover with the remaining slices, buttered-side up.

Heat a large skillet over low heat. Cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes until the underside is golden and crisp.
