01 -
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
02 -
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
03 -
In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 -
Gradually incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the rainbow sprinkles carefully to distribute evenly without overmixing.
05 -
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
06 -
Beat the softened butter in a bowl until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until a smooth, fluffy frosting forms.
07 -
Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add about two-thirds of the frosting and combine until the mixture holds together when pressed but is not overly moist.
08 -
Lay out the flour tortillas. Spoon a generous portion of the cake and frosting mixture along the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with additional rainbow sprinkles and crispy rice cereal or crushed wafer cookies if using.
09 -
Drizzle or spread the remaining frosting over the filling. Fold the sides toward the center and roll tightly from the bottom to form wraps.
10 -
Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately, or chill for 15 minutes to allow filling to set before serving.
