02 - 2 tbsp olive oil
03 - 3 tbsp unsalted butter
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 cup heavy cream
06 - ½ cup chicken broth
07 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
10 - Fresh parsley, for garnish

→ Buttered Rice

11 - 1 cup long-grain white rice
12 - 2 cups chicken broth or water
13 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
14 - Salt, to taste

→ Roasted Broccoli

15 - 2 cups broccoli florets
16 - 1 tbsp olive oil
17 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Bring 2 cups of chicken broth or water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in the rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of butter until fully melted and rice appears glossy.
02 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 15 to 18 minutes until tender and lightly charred.
03 - Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, then stir in Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
05 - Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it thoroughly with the sauce. Plate buttered rice and roasted broccoli alongside the chicken, spooning additional sauce over all. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For enhanced flavor, toast the rice in a dry skillet for a few minutes before boiling.
02 - Avoid overcrowding the skillet when searing chicken to ensure proper browning.
03 - Finish roasted broccoli with a squeeze of lemon for added brightness if desired.
04 - Store leftovers refrigerated for up to three days; reheat gently with a splash of broth or cream.
