# Everything You’ll Need:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

→ Sauce

02 - 1 cup smoky barbecue sauce

→ Toppings

03 - 8 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked crispy
04 - 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

→ Seasoning

05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) to preheat.
02 - Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
04 - Transfer the seared chicken breasts to a baking dish and brush each generously with barbecue sauce.
05 - Layer crispy bacon slices and shredded cheddar cheese over each chicken breast.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted and golden.
07 - Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes prior to serving.
