Christmas Tree Veggie Pizza (Printable Version)

Festive crescent dough topped with creamy hummus and fresh, colorful chopped vegetables.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 8 ounces refrigerated crescent dough sheet
02 - 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (for rolling)

→ Topping

03 - 1 cup plain or flavored hummus
04 - 2 cups finely chopped fresh vegetables (broccoli, carrots, bell peppers)

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Lightly flour a clean work surface and unroll the crescent dough. Roll gently into an even sheet.
03 - Use a Christmas tree–shaped cookie cutter to cut tree shapes from the dough. Re-roll scraps to cut additional shapes.
04 - Place dough trees on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden.
05 - Remove baked crusts from oven and transfer to a wire rack. Allow to cool completely.
06 - Finely chop broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers, mixing them for a colorful topping.
07 - Spread about one heaping teaspoon of hummus on each cooled crust, then sprinkle chopped vegetables on top, pressing gently to adhere.
08 - Loosely cover assembled mini pizzas with foil and refrigerate at least 15 minutes before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Allow crusts to cool fully before adding hummus to prevent sogginess. Finely chopping vegetables improves texture and presentation. Flavored hummus such as roasted garlic or red pepper adds extra taste. These can be prepared ahead and kept chilled.
