Grilled Chicken Nuggets (Printable Version)

Smoky seasoned chicken pieces, lightly sweet and a little tangy, grilled so they stay juicy inside.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 450g chicken breast, no skin or bones, chopped into small chunks

→ Marinade

02 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
03 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 60ml olive oil
07 - 1 teaspoon salt
08 - 1 tablespoon honey
09 - 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (up to you)
10 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Grab a big bowl and toss in the olive oil, lemon juice, honey, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and a little cayenne if you feel like it. Mix it all up until smooth.
02 - Drop the chicken chunks into your bowl and stir till each one’s well coated. Pop on some plastic wrap and stick it in the fridge at least 30 minutes, or even couple hours if you want more taste.
03 - Get your grill (or grill pan) warmed up over medium-high so it’s nice and hot for even cooking.
04 - Take out your chicken from the fridge and let any leftover marinade drip off. Lay out the chicken pieces on the hot grill and cook them about 5–7 minutes a side. Flip once. You’re aiming for nice grill marks and inside, it should hit at least 75°C.
05 - Move the cooked chicken off the grill onto a plate and let it sit for a few minutes before you dig in. Serve with any dip or side you like best.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Letting chicken soak in the marinade longer makes it juicier and really bumps up the flavor.
