Set the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, add the egg mixture, and cook gently until just set. Remove from heat.

Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs onto each triangle, then top with shredded cheeses and cooked bacon or sausage.

Roll each dough triangle starting from the wide end, place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, and optionally brush with melted butter.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
