Boudin Cajun Dip (Printable Version)

Hot boudin, creamy cheese, and plenty of Cajun kick come together for a craveable, spicy dip everyone loves to scoop up at parties.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Dip Mixture

01 - 30 grams green onion, chopped up fine, across the bunch
02 - 115 grams shredded cheddar cheese
03 - 225 grams sour cream
04 - 225 grams cream cheese, left out to soften
05 - 450 grams boudin sausage, already cooked or use pre-cooked

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Once it’s out of the oven, toss that rest of the green onion on top. Set it out hot with whatever you wanna dip.
02 - Spread the whole mix into your prepared dish, making sure it’s even. Pop it in your hot oven for around 30 minutes, until you see bubbles and melty goodness.
03 - Dump the crumbled sausage, half that chopped onion, plus cheddar into your big bowl. Gently fold it all together with a spatula so every bite has a bit of everything.
04 - Beat together the softened cream cheese and sour cream in a big bowl with a mixer, going at medium speed. You’ll want this really smooth and creamy, about 5-7 minutes.
05 - Slice open and toss the casing from your sausage. If it’s not cooked, fry, boil, or grill it until done. Break the meat up small and set aside.
06 - Flip your oven on to 175°C. Spray a square 20x20 cm dish lightly and keep it ready.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - If your sausage is raw, make sure to cook it all the way through before crumbling.
