Preheat oven to 375°F.

Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and drain any excess fat.

Add diced onion to the skillet and sauté for 4–5 minutes until translucent, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper. Transfer beef mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

Top the beef layer with cream of mushroom soup, followed by green beans, and then shredded cheddar cheese. Season green bean layer lightly.

Arrange frozen tater tots evenly on top. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is melted.

Remove from oven, season the top layer lightly if desired, and serve hot.
