01 -
Grab some of that cheesy gnocchi fresh from the oven and scoop it up with your crunchy bread slices.
02 -
Toss it all in the oven at 200°C. Wait 20 to 25 minutes until the top is bubbly and looks perfectly golden.
03 -
Taste and tweak with a bit of salt and pepper. Move everything into a greased medium baking dish and give it a shower of that shredded cheese.
04 -
Drop in the gnocchi and let the whole thing bubble over medium heat while you stir now and then. Give it 5 to 10 minutes, so the sauce thickens and the gnocchi is soft.
05 -
Splash in the white wine and scrape up any tasty brown bits. Stir in the thyme and pour in the beef broth, then let it gently bubble away.
06 -
Set your oven to 200°C. Let the butter and olive oil melt in a big skillet or a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add your onion slices and stir them now and then so they get super brown and full of flavor, about 20 minutes.
