Ritz Cracker Christmas Treats (Printable Version)

Buttery crackers filled with peanut butter, dipped in chocolate, and decorated with colorful sprinkles for a festive treat.

# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Base

01 - 2 sleeves (approximately 60) buttery round crackers (Ritz)

→ Filling

02 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter or preferred nut/seed butter

→ Coating

03 - 3 cups white chocolate chips or white candy melts
04 - 1 to 2 tablespoons coconut oil (optional, for smooth dipping)

→ Decoration

05 - 1/4 cup festive red and green sprinkles
06 - Flaky sea salt (optional)

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange 30 crackers rounded side up. Spread approximately 1 teaspoon of peanut butter on each cracker, then top each with another cracker to form a sandwich. If the filling is soft, refrigerate sandwiches for 5 to 10 minutes to firm.
02 - Place chocolate chips and optional coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat at 20-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
03 - Using a fork, dip each sandwich into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place coated sandwiches onto parchment paper. Immediately sprinkle with festive sprinkles and optional flaky sea salt.
04 - Refrigerate the dipped sandwiches for 10 to 15 minutes or until the chocolate hardens. Store in an airtight container. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use plain buttery crackers rather than flavored varieties. Chill runny peanut butter before use to prevent oozing. Coconut oil improves the chocolate's dip-ability and smoothness. Apply sprinkles while the coating is still wet to ensure adherence. Keeping the cookies slightly chilled maintains a crisp and clean chocolate coating.
