# Everything You’ll Need:

→ Bakery

01 - 2 large day-old croissants

→ Poultry

02 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

→ Meat

03 - 6 strips thick-cut bacon

→ Produce

04 - 4 fresh lettuce leaves, washed and dried
05 - 2 tablespoons fresh mixed herbs (parsley, chives, thyme)

→ Dairy

06 - 2 tablespoons softened butter

→ Spices

07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - Fresh black pepper, to taste
09 - Salt, to taste

# Steps to Cook:

01 - Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Allow to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes to absorb seasonings.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon strips until crispy, about 6 to 8 minutes. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels, reserving 1 tablespoon of bacon fat.
03 - Heat a grill pan or skillet with reserved bacon fat over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts for 6 to 7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
04 - Slice croissants horizontally and lightly toast. Brush the inside surfaces with softened butter for enhanced richness.
05 - Layer the bottom halves of croissants with lettuce leaves, sliced chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh herbs. Cover with top halves and serve immediately.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For deeper flavor, marinate chicken in herbs overnight. Best served fresh but can be assembled just before serving. Optional toppings like avocado or tomato are recommended.
